Services provided

Currently, the aims and activities of the Industrial Consortium are governed by Regional Law No 29/05/1997 13 which gives the same series of tasks, which are listed below (under Art. 5 of the Statute in force). The Consortium, as a public business, is to promote industrialization and for setting up other productive activities in areas included in its territory.

As part of the estimates of overall planning and sector of the region, the Consortium shall promote in the areas of Industrial clusters, the conditions necessary for the creation and development of industrial facilities, and wholesale trades. For the purposes referred to in paragraph 1, the Consortium, exclusively within the territorial areas of jurisdiction, shall in particular :

1. The editorial , in accordance with the directions of Regional Development Plan , the zoning of areas and nuclei of industrial development (planning scheme area);
2. To assign areas , according to forecasts of Territorial Planning Scheme to enterprises engaged in industrial production activities, crafts, wholesale trade, services and green areas at facilities;
3. To manage the productive areas identified by the planning instruments;
4. Acquire the area and equipped with the necessary urbanization works ;
5. To manage , in the manner provided by law, services consortium ponendone payment to beneficiaries;
6. A encourage the promotion of the Territorial Pacts .8 of Article of Decree Law n.244 of 1995, converted with amendments by Law No 341, 1995, and other national and Community funds and initiatives related to the productive development of the area concerned;
7. A build and manage directly or through the establishment of joint ventures , also with the participation of local stakeholders, activities instrumental to the establishment of productive activities, in particular:
   1. implementing and managing infrastructure for industry, ports, Rural Industrial, internodal centers, including the purchase of land for that purpose
   2. organize real services to businesses, particularly initiatives for orientation and training of workers, middle management of young entrepreneurs;
   3. implementing and managing service activities such as management of cogeneration plants for energy production and district heating, plant selection and sorting of waste in built civil and industrial products, systems for recovering materials for reuse, and disposal of special waste, platforms multifunctional for inerting or the thermal destruction, equipped laboratories for quality control of products and for the analysis of water, air, waste, noise. The realization of such initiatives must comply with the guidelines of the Local Authorities, which are responsible administrative functions in accordance with Law No. June 8, 1990 142.
   4. Promoting the expropriation of land and property necessary for the equipment in the area and the industrial location, under the second paragraph of Article 4 of Regional Law n. .7 13/97.
   5. Take any initiative likely to achieve institutional purposes;
   6. Assume the functions provided for by law n.448/98 ;
   7. . In order to accomplish the duties described in this article, the Consortium will facilitate or participate in consortia and consortia, and conclude agreements or arrangements under Article 15 of the Administrative Law Journal August 7, 1990 Article 241 and the .24 Law n.142/90 and subsequent modifications and additions.
